Look, we know how it is. Waiting, twiddling those thumbs for John Mayer’s moment to become one that you too can experience. Thankfully, the Boy Genius has caved to requests to show off what exactly the Bold’s browser can do, a point of interest for many, we’re certain. There are even a few comparison shots to Mobile Safari just for reference. Overall, things don’t look too bad from photographs alone, but hit up the read link to form your own view.

Looks just a tiny less glamorous when it’s chilling in some clean-room lab somewhere, doesn’t it? Tag Heuer’s mighty Meridiist, the luxury set designed to compete with the Vertus and Mobiados of the world, has just navigated its way through the FCC’s mighty bureaucracy on the wings of French ODM ModeLabs complete with a posting of the user’s manual. And let’s be honest, at well over five grand, an online user’s manual is about as close as most of us are ever going to get to this thing.

A designer by the name of Samuel Lau has created a concept for a new Sony PSP. The idea blends together a Sidekick Slide and a PSP trim.

Samuel has made a video of his creation and hopes its gets 50,000+ views. Once it does, he’ll send a proposal to Sony asking them to pay for half his education if they like the idea (no joke, that’s really his plan).

The design itself looks pretty slick and it has the one thing I crave, a QWERTY keyboard. I can’t stand using Internet devices without them.

We’ve already gotten word of most of the details of Samsung’s i8510 INNOV8 (get it?) smartphone, but things just got a whole lot more official for the device in Europe and, coincidentally, a number of sites recently got to spend some time with the phone in NYC (despite the lack of an official US release). Of course, there’s not a whole lot of surprises to be found, but it certainly seems like the phone will get the job done and then some, with its built in camera not only boasting an impressive 8 megapixels, but auto-focus, image stabilization, and a flash as well. The rest of the specs aren’t too shabby either. Head on past the break to check out one video of the device courtesy of MobileBurn, and be sure to hit up the Laptop Mag link below for a second, higher-quality look at it.

We’ve already seen the iPhone 3G got unlocked to function on any carrier (and you can already purchase unlocked versions in several countries), but we haven’t seen a locked handset get unlocked via software only, and the folks at gsmphone-unlocking have the first video we’ve seen of Steve’s newest baby doing the SIM swap dance without any adapters. Yep, there it is, going from Rogers to Fido. Sadly, the video is more of a shameless ploy for publicity than actually useful information, and until we’re told otherwise, we’re just going to assume that they’ve just gotten hold of an early copy of the Dev Team’s unlocking tool — which should be free to the public sometime soon. So, you know: video after the break, but feel free to ignore the obnoxious phone numbers and URLs.

Sure, it was already possible (if complicated) to jailbreak a first-gen iPhone running the 2.0 software under Windows, but this is the one-click tool all you crazy cats with those extra G’s need if you don’t have a Mac — too bad no one’s come up with a superior name than “pwn” yet. Please, people. Let’s do superior.

PS.- As usual, you run the risk of completely destroying your phone mucking around with this stuff, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Update: winpwn.com is down already, mirrors in the comments!
