The Future of Android Phones

The Future of Android Phones

The first mobile phone which featured Android Operating System was the HTC Dream. Since after then more mobile companies came forward and began developing new Android devices with new ideas. Samsung, Motorola, Asus, HTC, etc companies developed many new Android featured handsets and they left behind the Blackberry, Symbian, Java phones but still it was a tough competition with Apple iOS.

Android started with its Alpha and Beta versions and then further developed Cupcake, Donut, Éclairs, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice-cream, Jellybean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, and the latest version today in the market is Oreo(v8.0). The Jellybean version of Android attracted the whole world and after this, the Android became very popular in the market. Samsung S8, Note 8, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Honor 7X, OnePlus 5T, Samsung Galaxy J7 etc are the Android devices which are available in today’s market. They mainly have Nougat (7.0) or Marshmallow (6.0) version of Android. Oreo is available as a future update to maximum phones which have Nougat already installed in them.

The phones have developed very much in one decade of time and the process is still continued and after some years we would surely see outstanding results.

These are some of my predictions and research about the future Android Phones which I have gathered and will present over to you:

1. Future Android Phones Would Have Their Own Brain

This is something which seems to look like Artificial Intelligence (AI). Yes, we will observe in upcoming time that phones would sense most of the things happening around us. They will need very fewer instructions as compared to present mobile phones. There will be many more advanced sensors working on a single smartphone. It will ultimately improve the security of our phones as the fingerprint and other biometric security sensors would become more efficient and powerful. Pattern and PIN locks would vanish at that time because the new monitoring and biometric sensor would overtake its place.

2. A New Way To See The Screen

The Future Android phones would change the way you see the modern displays. The latest screens are curved on the edges and look very cool as it is in Samsung S8+ and Note 8. But think of the mobile phones which would be featuring bent displays or collapsible screens. Samsung and other mobile manufacturers are working to make devices which displays can be bent and set according to our needs. Bent or curved display would surely provide a better vision for watching videos and for gaming.

3. High-Speed Data Sharing

Today we use Wi-Fi, Internet, Bluetooth or simple USB (Universal Serial Bus) cables for sharing data. They are fast but not very much till now. Some new and better technologies are coming forward to provide a very high-speed data sharing like IBM’s Silicon Photonics. It will be available on many phones in upcoming time and the technology is also at a very affordable cost. These types of technologies will improve the data sharing speed in phones and in the minimum time maximum files can be shared between the devices.
